The 16th International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy Exhibition (SNEC) will be held in Shanghai from 24-26 May. More than 3,000 exhibitors from 95 countries and regions around the world will attend SNEC, and the number of visitors will reach 300,000.

SNEC has become the most influential international, professional and large-scale PV event in China, Asia and even the world. The scale of the exhibition has grown from 15,000 square metres in 2007 to over 200,000 square metres in 2021, and to 270,000 square metres this year. The number of exhibitors, scale and number of participants will be at an all-time high. As the most professional PV exhibition, SNEC not only showcases PV manufacturing facilities, materials, PV cells, PV application products and modules, PV projects and systems, energy storage and other link products of the whole PV industry chain, but many upstream and downstream enterprises related to this will also participate.

Although SNEC was not held in 2022 due to the epidemic, it was the hottest event of the year. Official information shows that this year, SNEC has attracted GCL, Longi, Huawei, Tongwei, Trina Solar, JA Technology, Chint New Energy, TBEA, AT&S Sunshine, TCL Zhonghuan, Rising East New Energy, Singapore Energy Group, TÜV Rheinland and other exhibitors from 95 countries and regions around the world, with an exhibition area of 270,000 square meters, of which international exhibitors account for 30%. During the four days, more than 4,000 people from global mainstream photovoltaic enterprises, top enterprises and industry KOLs gathered in Shanghai to share the most cutting-edge technologies and innovations in the field of photovoltaic, energy storage and hydrogen energy through nearly 20 thematic forums and to discuss green development.
